What We Believe

Sundays at 10:00 AM

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture is given to reveal His character, His redemptive plan through Jesus Christ, and His will for our lives. As the living and active Word of God it is the final authority for doctrine, correction, and spiritual formation. (2 Tim 3:16–17, Heb 4:12, Ps 119:105)

God

We believe that there is only one GOD eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. (Deut 6:4, Gen 1:1)

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead, securing salvation for all who believe. He ascended to the Father where He is the Head of the Church and intercedes for believers. We believe He is coming again to the Earth to set up His Kingdom. (John 1:1, 14, 1 Cor 15:3–4, Acts 1:9–11)

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a distinct Person of the Godhead who indwells, convicts and empowers believers. As we walk out our faith, He continues to form Christlike character in us, being evident as fruit and He equips believers with spiritual gifts for service. The Holy Spirit illuminates the Scriptures and enables believers to understand and apply God’s Word. God continues to speak to His people today through the Holy Spirit in agreement with His written Word. (John 14:16–17, Gal 5:22–23, 1 Cor 12:4–11)

Salvation

We believe that Salvation is a free gift from God that is received when a person trusts in Jesus Christ as their only Savior and Lord. Salvation is given by God’s grace and cannot be earned by man through good works, baptism, church membership or any other way. (Ephesians 2: 8-9, Rom 6:23, John 3:16)

Baptism

We believe that water baptism by immersion is an act of obedience to Christ’s command. It is a public confession of our personal faith in Jesus Christ.
(Matt 28:19, Rom 6:3-4, Acts 2:41)

The Church

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers—many members, yet one Body—each uniquely gifted by God’s grace to serve according to His calling. Though diverse in function, we are united in Christ and called to work together in harmony. Christ has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the saints for the work of ministry, so that the whole Church may grow in maturity, unity and love.
(Eph 4:11–16, 1 Cor 12:12-14, Rom 12:4-6)

Our Mission

We believe that every believer in the Church is commissioned by Jesus to make disciples of all nations, proclaiming the gospel and teaching obedience to all that Christ commanded. Our mission is to see people saved, delivered, healed, equipped, and discipled into maturity, knowing their identity, and purpose, for advancing the Kingdom of God. (Matt 28:18–20, Mark 16:15–18, Eph 4:12-13)

Community and Fellowship

We believe God calls believers into a Christ-centered community, where our faith is strengthened and we practice love actively through living shared lives and establishing meaningful relationships. We gather faithfully in corporate worship on Sundays and in small groups during the week, encouraging each other, growing in discipleship, and building each other up. (Acts 2:42, 46-47, Heb 10:24–25, 1 Thes 5:11, 2 Tim 2:2)
